We’re sorry, but we’re about to close.

Scene Central launched way back in 2009 to great success! Over the last three years, we’ve publicised thousands of events across the West Midlands – from huge, spectacular theatre productions, to small family workshops.

Despite this success, we’re sorry to have to inform you that Scene Central will be closing on Tuesday 31 January 2012.

Scene Central is owned and managed by Audiences Central, the audience development agency for the West Midlands, who were unable to secure funding from Arts Council England for 2012-2013. As a result, the Board of Audiences Central were forced to make the difficult decision to close in March 2012.

We’ve been working hard to find a way for Scene Central to continue, but this has (so far) proved unsuccessful.

We would therefore like to take this opportunity to thank you for your support of Scene Central, and hope that, over the years, you’ve find some thoroughly entertaining and enjoyable things to do.
